Actually I quite like them. I wish I was in New Orleans is easily the best track here but the layered 80's style production does work for me. I can hear the Jesus and Mary Chain in all this, as well as the Cocteau Twins. I really was expecting the hollywood classy chanteuse treatment (orchestras/sultry vocals etc etc). This I was not. It's disingenous nature has kind of charmed me after a couple of listens. As my wife rightly says though, Scarlett's a little young for the material...
