that said, i think some of the points wired makes miss the bigger picture. nuclear energy is a great source of energy that doesn't contribute to global warming. and i'm sure everyone in nevada loves having nuclear waste in their state.
if there was a better alternative to storing spent nuclear fuel, i'm sure everyone would love this stuff. that and the fact nobody wants another 3-mile island or chernobyl.
