Was a few really good programs on last night about knives, guns etc in youth culture. it started on bbc1 on panorama then "disarming britain" on channel 4.
One of the teens on the program wrapped up the whole scenario pretty well saying that it is society as a whole that 'doesnt care' and that the government and police can do as much as they can to try stop people carrying weapons but its never going to stop it from happening. He said society has to improve and change its attitude. Likening it to recycling - it's only going to make a big difference if EVERYONE does their part not just some people.
