Yup, and they almost always just mean...clean, good white space, not over cluttered and over the top...but it's easier for them to say "make it look like Apple"...or "...BMW". I actually like when I client says this because usually, it seems, like clients want to cram in as much info as they can to something and it ends up being over the top and too much going on.
