I'm pretty late on this but I was going to post the same thing and I found this before I did.
I really like schooling health nut hippies about nutrition.
If you live an active, healthy lifestyle you're body can more than handle some high fructose corn syrup, a few thousand calorie days every once in a while, the occasional pesticide covered apple, and even a few 100% beef McDonalds hamburgers.
The best is when I get a scowl from a girl at a restaurant for ordering a buffalo chicken sandwhich or french fries while she's munching on a gigantic salad with cheese, bacon, and 6 ounces of ranch dressing.
Reminds me of when I was younger and my friends dad got an organic apple from Whole Foods. I asked him what organic meant, he showed me a spider web built inside the top of it and stated "basically, that's what it means".
I'm all about eating healthy and natural, but I can't stand people who do it just because it's trendy and then rub it in your face when you enjoy a popsicle.
- +1 for exercise... doesn't matter what you eat... as long as you exercise and remain active.d_rek
