fuck yes.
once in a looooong while I realize one or two of you on this message board really actually like music, and not that spoonfed glossy pop shit that passes for "indie" (so independent, millions of records go flying off shelves). Not that contrived, gimmicky and and well packaged shiite that substitutes for rock these days, developed by a team of marketing executives, styled by their small army of "edgy" stylists. I could go on or hours about the pathetic state of rock music, but chances are you havent even made it this far.
So then: Lenny Kravitz, U2, Coldplay, Offspring, my chemical romance etc can all suck each other off in a big circle whilst the Cramps remind what these dbags remember what real rock sounds like.
Lux, for his 50+ years, still puts on one of the best live shows of all time. Climbing 20 amp stacks, jumping into crowds, flailing about on the ground like a fish getting clubbed on the pier. Just a standard tuesday night gig for the cramps in Anyold Town, USA. The Cramps in desmoines would rock just as hard as LA or NYC.
