  If you add in the full URL in the <form> tag it works fine.

  ie.
  <form id="oppsearchform" name="oppsearchform" method="get" action="http://www.volunteermatch.org/search/index.jsp">

  I guess it's at least impolite to do this kind of thing, but as long as you're not intending to pump bajillions of queries through, they shouldn't mind too much - you are, after all, merely linking to their site.
