If Casino was the origin tale, then Quantum's the awkward filler follow up. It was enjoyable right enough, but two weeks on and I can barely remember any of it, bar the opera scene which I really enjoyed for some reason. Once the third of the new series is out, the whole will be that much more enjoyable, I'm sure, as Bond can get back to being Bond without having to feel the need to justify its new incarnation.
If you're in for the long haul, then this one's a must to watch - if you're a passer by with high standards otherwise, you can probably skip it.
