if i had the time, i would...and i don't need or want the space.

it's a dedicated box right? and you won't physically be administrating the box, right? really, there isn't much of a need for a full on admin for your server.

more than likely, your box will have a web based panel that can control the function of the entire system. it's pretty easy to use and you have full root control - like the ability to reboot, install and remove hardware, etc.

the web admin panels i have seen are usually pretty usable and easy to learn...and most of the time there are plenty of knowledge base references or tutorials included.

in the case that you don't get a pre-installed web server admin panel, you can pick up free ones from hotscripts.com or other sites online and install them directly on your server to use.

usually isntallation and configuration requires a decent understanding of linux/unix but it's really not that hard.

since it's your dedicated server you can pretty much do anything you want to it, so if you asked, i'm sure the company would install the panel software for you.

    :)
