Yeah I did Wing Chun for a bit. Wing Chun is great for fighting at close range. We focused on really fast strikes with mostly hands. Kicks aren't really emphasized in Wing Chun. If we did kick it was waist height or lower.

    • There are a lot of vertical fists tooGlitterati_Duane
    • is it alot more like juijitsu so tigerDragon wasWeLoveNoise
    • no not at all. I didn't do much grapling. Mostly punches, blocks and open hand strikes.

    • Then again I didn't do any advanced techniques so I don't know if that comes later.Glitterati_Duane
    • It's a striking art think the concept is, someone grabs you, you can hit them where it hurts and slip out. Theres not really grappling in it but some teachers mix ground fighting/grappling techniques up as an addition.Devilman
    • any grappling, some teachers mix it up with jujitsu or wrestling techniquesDevilman
