Religion is more than happy to have banners on the side of churches etc scaring the shit out of us telling us that we will die if we sin or dont believe in god, that we will burn for eternity.
If you are an athiest or dont have any strong religious beliefs then that kind of message just washes over you cos you just think "haha - thats religion" (lol) and you dont actually take it to heart.
When the humanist association publically publishes one of their beliefs they are attacked for it by a religious man.
