If an atheist refused to drive a pro-God bus, I wonder if we would hear of it. I also wonder if, in the event that a story made the news, the likes of Dave or moth would complain. Doubtful.
I find that people who yell "hypocrisy!" the most are often guilty of that very thing, but bugger them if they could see their own noses in front of their faces.
- no we wouldn't hear about it, he would be fired. simple as.kelpie
- I think we need equal treatment for all, firing or not. And BTW in the states, at least, it would be illegal to fire said atheist.gramme
- I'd imagine it would be the same in the UK, no?gramme
- no it wouldn't, he would be refusing to do his job. That's the terms, unless you can call "faith" into the equation. I highly doubt its any different in the USkelpie
- its any different in the US, though you do have a far more litigious culturekelpie
- This is not about being litigious, it's about personal belief. The atheists are free to advertise themselves, but can't respect everyone to go along with it.gramme
- can't expect the rest of the world to complacently go along with the message when it intersects with one's livelihood.gramme
- no, this is what religious groups and lobbys do. The guy refused to do his job, the company he works for weren't happy. end of.kelpie
