  I nice tip a buddy of mine recently told me for taking screenshots. After you do: Command + Shift + 4 to get the crosshairs....hit the space bar and you can choose which open window to take a screenshot of. I had been taking it into PS to crop it out. I didn't know about the space bar trick.
