The hypocrisy is astounding. I couldn't stand her ever since she's been around, and nor did many others. Now she's dead everyone is clambering on top of each other to shower her with praise. I have sympathy with her family and the suffering she's been through, but fuck it, I couldn't stand her.
The only good thing she has done with her life is to raise the awareness of cervical cancer, and even that was a byproduct of her greed. She wasn't exactly hard up before she got diagnosed, and I don't think her kids were going to live a life of poverty without her selling every last undignified detail.
