    Well the best place to start would be to make a PSD flat at
    1280x720 at 72.dpi then I would hand off a TIFF for the authoring team to ensure it will fit their specs. Since I haven't done this in a few years I could be way off. But those are the specs that are built into Photoshop CS4 for 720p resolution. If you want to make it for 1080p you'd build out at 1920x1080 72dpi. Hope this kinda helps bro.
