Have you looked at Open University?
If its student life you're after thats no good but if its just the qualification you need then OU is a great way to go and if you don't already have a degree you can get lots of bursaries and subsidies to almost completely cover the costs of the modules.
I'm doing this myself in October although I have a degree already so I have to stump up the funds. Bitched!
