I logged 5k yesterday, and this morning my ankle is in pain again, I did some research and I think I got this:

[B] Tendinitis is inflammation of a tendon, caused by excessive mileage, running in one direction on the track, improper shoes, low arches, or flat feet. Since there are several tendons in the ankle region, you could feel pain on all sides of your ankle. Reduce inflammation with ice (10 to 15 minutes several times a day), anti-inflammatories, and gentle stretching exercises, says Michael Bowman, M.D., consultant for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cut back on mileage and find a softer running surface.

pain comes and goes, when I'm running its not that bad, and after a few minutes it disappears, then I don't feel anything for the rest of the day, this morning when I woke up, the moment I stepped on that foot it started hurting.

    • I have this. did quite a few K's last week and played Hockey (field) my ankle is now ifeeling itDancer
