  Many years ago.... I loved it, definately worth going... If you go to India first, then to Kathmandu, you'll have a much different experience than just flying into Kathmandu. Great food there too.... I went white water rafting in the Himalaya, and a track to Anapurna.... I had spent 6 months in India before I got to Kathmandu, so I wasn't thinking about things like pollution or chaotic traffic,etc...
