What's lolliest about all this is that you think that anyone outside our little world gives two hoots right now how the thing looks.
It's sold on Devs - they don't care about veneer, it's being sold to mass market - it doesn't care either. By the time people start caring what the thing looks like, it'll already have eaten every other pretty thing you hold dear.
Rabbits = pretty
Tyrannosaurus Rex = not so pretty
Rabbit = lunch
Tyrannosaurus Rex = largely unfazed, perhaps a little gassy- (let's cannily ignore the minor detail of the T.Rex's extinction, the analogy kinda falls apart there)detritus
