lowimpakt, to respond to your earlier post: Did you only watch a minute of this video? Or are you just stupid?
His main point is this: The internet can help you become whatever you want to become. Like he said, you don't need to be the nephew of the New York Times editor. You don't need some big break in Hollywood. The idea of being "self-made" is more a reality than ever before.
As designers, we should realize that. QBN plays an important part in that. The EC promotes and gives credibility to people we've never heard of before. It doesn't take money or connections.... just time, work, and talent.
