My father is just like your parents. Until recently I had been giving him money (5k, 3k, 15k). When I was a child I also had to give any money that I made to my mom to buy food with. It was crazy. The problem is that they'll never learn how to manage money if you keep saving them. It's painful to watch them fail (or near fail) but it has to happen. If you let it persist it will only get worse as you get older.
