It's crazy that if you frame the experience differently, like if you described what was happening and thought of it in terms of other people, you realize how disrespectful and abusive his (or in my case my) parents are being. When you're inside of a situation like that or grew up in it, your too close to it, you're thinking emotionally, and it all seems very normal.
