I've owned two G9's over the past several years - first one fell off a 16 story balcony last summer while shooting a timelapse sunset =]. Regardless, the second one has the same issue as the first: no exposure controls - what it "sees" is what you "gets". Post processing is the way to go here. The other possibility is to fake the timelapse look and feel - shoot 720P video, then speed up the resulting movie - I know, I know - but it is all for the art, right?
