Morilla, what has that got to do with anything, you've felt compelled to write in the thread as have I... not sure I get the cut of your jib...
Ranger, of course we should cut pollution but what pisses me off is the scare mongering and blatant agenda. If you read throught the leaked emails, it's a disgrace. Basically, lots' of data was rigged - in fact, damn near all of it, to support the preconceived ideal. All data that did not support the case (of which there was a lot) was basically left out of all reports. There are emails between these guys saying that they should hide their tracks and delete email threads in case they get found out - and what's astonishing is the sheer silence from mainstream media depsite these leaks.
I do believe in climate change but what has never been proven; is our own contribution to it. Anyway, most people who debate this have a dash of hypocrisy about them. An example, animals reared for human consumption contribute more to greenhouse gasses than all of the cars, trains and planes put together. How many people will give up meat for the cause? Not having a go at anyone specifically but let us not assume that what these sponsored scientists say is gospel.
