    Not true. If its in-camera, than its in-camera, and it's a natural occurence. If post, that kind of flaring is actually tricky to create. There is some off the shelf capability with Knoll products and Magic Bullet, but you really have to tweak it extensively.

    Star Trek, btw, almost all flaring was in-camera due to how the sets were lit.
