I don't think the Strokes flat out suck, I just don't get on their jock the way the ignorant music magazines would like us too.
They've got tunes, yah, but (didn't we discuss this yesterday??) but have some tough competition from bands that could care much less about the hype (there's already a Strokes biography book for God's sake!) like The Datsuns, Libertines, Jet, etc.
The White Stripes have it. hands down. Jack White is a modern day guitarical maestro.
