The oscars do not have much to do with good films, but they are fun. As Ramanisky2 said, it was cool to see Jeff Bridges win...sad that Quentin Tarantino won nothing himself, because he would have made an interesting speech for sure. I thought Ben Stiller was hilarious, and if you happened to catch the Independent Spirit Awards, he did an equally hilarious bit of ridiculing the Independent Spirit Awards by having people simulate porno onstage while he read best picture winner.
