    Wow, he totally took the entire point of the magazine away... I mean, its cool the dude has ideas (maybe), but unfortunately they're terrible ideas...

    Like, when Plaboy first came it was a big deal because it was a "classy" nudie magazine or whatever. That sort of thing required some some sort of intelligence to appreciate because of cultural conventions at the time, so it attracted a different sort of person to work for them and thus create their content. (Not that I'm familiar with these individuals, but Robert Anton Wilson was an editor there in the 60s/70s and his shit rules...) So anyways, even if you take out the nudie aspect of the magazine, as this project attempted to do, to return it to its former glory requires the content to be much more "cutting edge" and to approach current cultural conventions and attempt to change them by its juxtaposition of content like it used to. It needs to be more culturally relevant. All that was done with this re-brand was to give the mag a new logo and to try to turn it into a luxury brand. Lame.
