    I'm not religious, but this doesn't in any way deny the existence of God. The more I learn about the world and how perfectly and completely everything fits together and how mind-bogglingly huge the universe is, the more I am in awe of the energy and life force that holds us together. Science to me confirms the existence of a God-like force. Call it whatever you want.

    It's pointless to judge Christians or any other peace loving religions - I know there are nauseating specimens - but I have researched a lot of religions and it seems weird to me that Jesus (there is non-religious proof that he existed) is the one everyone decides to pick on when he was the least judgmental and actually one of the wisest and most loving of teachers that I've read about.

    Sorry about the ranty nature of this. It's just something I've been thinking about a lot lately with all the Jesus bashing going on...
