    FWIW, Opera don't like Flash neither.

    Opera Product Analyst Phillip Grønvold diplomatically conceded that “today’s Internet content is dependent on Flash” but then added, “but at Opera we say that the future of the web is open web standards and Flash is not an open web standards technology.”

    Although Grønvold admits that Flash will have its uses for particular types of dynamic content, for video playback the technology “makes very little sense.” Battery life suffers, CPU usage is overwhelmed, and “you can cook an egg on [devices] once you start running Flash on them and there’s a reason for that.”
