File > import just like anything else. You'll get a dialogue on what layers you want and how you want to handle the stage and other options.
It rarely gives you what you want. You don't get vector shape layers. You get layer folders and a huge mess. I never thought it was worth using.
There are preferences on how to do this You can tell the text layers to rasterize or not. (God knows why you would)
