    make sure she's off the caffeine. breathing long and deep is key. and since it's ALL in your mind and about controlling your mind then it helps that as soon as she feels one coming on she literaly side tracks herself, trick her own mind until she has full control of it.

    it's important she talks to someone about it. sounds like something happened in the dark :( has she tried a small night light? she needs to sleep, so maybe for a few days taking some soothing bedtime tea and stretching doing some yoga before she goes to bed. really focusing on her and taking some time for herself.
