  i call bollocks on this also.

  i know more hardcore alcoholics in both the financial markets and the air traffic controller work fields.

  i realise the creative types like to bang on about the pain, the experience, the this the that and like to imagine themselves in the mould of famous creatives who also had drug/alcohol issues (warhol / burroughs / the entire rolling stones / hunter s thompson, bukowski etc etc) but in reality, these are the fields where self promotors like to brag about their issues. bankers etc generally keep schtum.
