Miguex,
I still see colors, and for some, I can even tell you almost what color it is. I just can't tell the difference between colors when they are close on the color spectrum. It also depends on their saturation and brightness. Blues/purples, darker reds/greens/browns, and yellow/green (#FFFF00 and #00FF00) look very similar to me.
What's interesting is there's a product called ChromaGen which is a corrective contact that supposedly can help not only with colorblindness, but also dyslexia. Makes me wonder if there is a link between the two.
