we print on canvas.
honestly- printing on canvas sucks. The feel is cool- but the canvas soaks up so much of the ink that you loose a lot.
look for a 10oz bantex indoor substraight (matte)- it has the look of canvas but because it's actually a vinyl, the inks hold a lot better.
most places that say they print on canvas, really dont- or else the put a clear coat on prior to printing (like the photo places do) but getting good color this way is tricky.
as for price- we would normally charge about 40 for 1 12"x12" and then $8ft after that- so what you've found is pretty fair.
