DUDE!!! I can only imagine how proud you are! Right on, I remember when my dad bought me a yz-80 when I turned 5. We would go out to this place east of town that had jumps...and little trails. There was this huge tabletop that flattened out into a wash. I would always puss out and land on the top of the table top, but one day I went big, cleared the top, and the landing downslope and bottemed out in the wash. The sand just eight those little tires on that 80. I flipped over the handle bars, but my left hand was caught under the clutch, and I ended up breaking my hand...didnt know it because I flipped all the way over and landed on my back and it knocked the wind out of me. I remember trying so hard to get my helmet off, but I guess I passed out. The next thing I remember is sitting on my dads lap waking up, and he was laughing and crying at the same time. He asked me if I was ok...and I nodded. Then he told me to pick my bike up and start it. Thats when I found out how bad my wrist hurt. He just kept telling me to kick it over, kick it...and I started it on the 4th or 5th kick. And I rode back to his truck. It wasnt until a week's worth of complaining that my mum and dad took me to the hospital and found out that I fractured four bones across my hand. They took my parents aside to ask them questions because they thought I was being abused...it was one of the best days of my life. Getting hurt...and walking away.

    • that's quite a story. my kid just rolled off a stair... man, now i'm gonna have to encourage him to do more.bjladams
