    Basically, if you sit on a chair in an office in the US, under a 90 day tourists visa, it's classed as working therefore illegal (madness, but true). But, it also depends on the company that you'll be 'working' for and their attitude. Personally, I found the HR departments in the US (NYC) are tight as a gnats chuff when it comes to working without the proper visa.
    I know a stack of stylists and photographers, based in the UK but work/freelance frequently in the US... I think they all have an 01 or EB1 visa, I forget which one it is now.
