    Let's be honest here...when Mr. Jobs passes away Apple will have their best quarter ever, with all the TV specials, memorials and wall to wall coverage. It will be like when Michael Jackson died, only more so.

    After that, it's anyone's guess. Because no one has a really good idea how much Steve Jobs actually matters to the company. Tim Cook is credited with a lot of Apple's turnaround with an operations point of view, so I wouldn't guess bureaucracy to be their downfall. Ives comes up with the actual product designs.

    The most valuable thing Jobs did for the company, besides provide a public face, was his overall strategy of pursuing a media/entertainment approach instead of trying to compete head to head with Microsoft. In terms of everything else, it kind of remains to be seen.
