Boz, half the internet is dedicated to iPhone vs Android discussion, yet somehow you think the designers of the world will find this particularly entertaining?
Some people admire Steve Jobs for being a controlling fuck bag (particularly designers), it doesn't mean they're blind to what he's doing. The networks don't make as much profit from iPhone contracts, so they charge extra for tethering... can we please just drop this tech bullshit (especially mobile) it's literally everywhere... My taxi driver unsuccessfully tried to have a conversation about tethering the other day, after telling me about getting Windows 7 running on BLA DE BLA and extending his battery life via BLA BLA BLA BLA. It is seriously the modern day equivalent of talking about the weather.
