Wait for CS6 next year.. CS5.5 is mostly web and app stuff.. so it might not be a significant update yet because mainstream mobile stuff and apps and so on are really going to take off later this year along with other types of publishing content..
THe only thing you should possibly consider CS 5.5 is if you really want to start making websites for mobile or if you are working for a magazine and you want to take advantage of Adobe's new Digital Publishing Suite that allows you to create Wired like magazines for ipad, android tablets and blackberry playbook.
If you do stuff like that, then CS 5.5 would be a worthy thing to upgrade as InDesign has a those improvements.
ADPS is not cheap though and it's really only affordable to magazine publishers..it's not for small per client stuff but it's definitely the future of publishing.
