Huh, they've been very helpful with my legal versions, getting updated serial numbers, etc., both on the phone and online chatting.
If you think that is a pain, go try Autodesk licenses! You have to "export" from one, then "import" to another computer. Makes Adobe look like a cake walk.
[hopefully there'll be a better system someday, but for now serial numbers/activation are it, at least if you choose to be legal]
