Ditmas Park Brooklyn, is getting good.
1 bedroom or studios 1200 24 min on express train to Canal.
lots of musicians in the Neighborhood.
Some good restaurants/ bars on Cortelyou.
If you like Trees they're around too.
Or if you're young and still want to smash your liver, The Morgan stop is good on the L (Bushwick)
I used to Live at the jefferson stop ( L train)9 years ago. the spaces were huge but the neighborhood was crazy- it's pretty good now.If you want a share Eastbroadway / suffolk, norfolk, some of those co-op buildings are good to get into. have some friend that pay 2400 for a large 2 bedroom/ deck/ gym etc.
