the performance of a usb goes up and down like the stock market meanwhile firewire has a solid performance.esata is faster then both usb and firewire. note. most users need a slot to add a esata card. so, no luck for imacs. though, if it's a newer one. they have thunderbolt which knocks socks off, if wearing any, sandal boy.
too bad ssd harddrives are still so expensive. if you pop one of these cherry in an older computer. it goes like it's on speed. :-)
hey armin, how fast is the start up now? my old mbp 2.16Ghz start up in less then 20sec. now.
