- tell them where you got their contact, and why you're contacting them (ie: John Smith said you might be interested in someone with a design background and C# skills for iphone apps.).
- list very briefly your skills, and how you've used them to great success in the past.
- Close with an open invitation to discuss further, even if they don't have any projects on the go right now. Maybe touch on how you might help them. (ie: offer new products, better outcomes, etc.)A portfolio link is super important too. Sell them, then show them.
