I run into more racism in Mexico then I ever did living stateside. Being a gringo living in MX has its pros but mos-def has its cons as well.
a few months back at a convenient store I had some bitch clerk put me at the back of the line after I already waited for my turn in line only because I was American, even the other customers were shocked and apologizing to me as they passed after she told them "its ok, hes just a gringo". I was so pissed that the only thing that was going on in my head was if this chick was a dude I would be pulling this guy to my side of the counter while going to work on his throat with my fist.unfortunately this shit is everywhere and it always will be.
