    After a few solid days of farting around with this thing, it seems a tad slower than snow leopard. I've installed iStat Menu and it lets me know that a process called "mds" (which is spotlight) is running in the background using up 300 megs of ram constantly. It never did that before to the best of my knowledge. Bah.

    • That's because it's indexing for the first time, I believe. This allows for real-time search results later on.monospaced
