Republicans will block any positive measures Obama will take, in the hope it will ruin the country enough for them to take power back in 4 years time. Alternatively they will block Obama till the last second, then they will finally yield, making sure to imply that they are saviours and it took great final seconds strength on their part to avoid financial yadda yadda, basically republicans are awful.
