The Catholic church hasn't covered itself in glory in recent times...but for people to say the Pope is a pedophile is just too easy. There are a lot of good people in the church...far outweighing the scumbags.
Their main error has been not getting rid of rogue Priests...if they'd started naming and shaming them years ago rather than shifting them from parish to parish, things would have been different and a lot pf pain from the victims may have been averted.
Very little kiddy fiddling happens nowadays...the Church of today is just cleaning up the mess from past generations...and they're not doing a very good job of it.
