  I only put stuff in the trash that I want deleted.

  If you're not sure about a file create a Junk folder on your desktop and drop it in there. Then you can delete it as you please and not have to worry about the other files you're 'storing' in the trash

  • Better to put that 'Junk' folder in your home folder, rather than the desktop.nb
  • Too many big files on your desktop can slow things down, I've heard.nb
