Very sad at 49.
The necrotizing fasciitis contracted is utterly, utterly terrifying. Essentially anyone can catch it from an untreated wound, even a paper cut - although it's very rare.
It's unclear whether this disease played a role in his liver failure, as he was declared free of the virus last year.
Perhaps life on the road caught up with him.
